The price of AMD’s most powerful processor ever has been slashed by almost half and I can't understand why.
I used to think that, more cores, equaled more performance. However, when it comes to games, as long as you have 8 cores or more, you are fine. I had a 32-core processor, and it wasn't that fast, to be honest. I got two 16-core desktops instead.
That price is outrageous for this EPYC 9965. Over $14,865 dollars? That's crazy for a CPU. However, it is 192-cores though. I bet you that the base clock on this CPU is super low.
