I replaced my 12-core with an X3D CPU for high-refresh gaming, and the difference was bigger than I expected.
Yeah. I have a 4090 with a Ryzen 9 7950X3D, and that computer is still a beast; with a 16-core CPU. It will probably be a little while before I get a new computer.
