I am seriously thinking about getting a Nintendo Switch 2. However, I never got the first one. I didn't see the need. I just bought retro-handhelds.

Now is the time to buy a switch 2.

Only issue with switch 1 was that some games were under powered.

Now you can get those games for $10-$25 and they play flawlessly on switch 2.

Check out some of the handhelds on these websites. I still may get a Switch 2, but I am not sure if they can compete with retro handhelds.

The controls could be better, but all the classic games I've played on there I've played so many times with computer and keyboard, phones, tablets, consoles....I know them on a deeper level. I can listen to the music and watch how the enemies spawn or scroll and know how to react.

So other than that, it's pretty damn cool and the quantity of games can't be beat.

Exactly bruh. I collect retro handhelds, and gaming handhelds in general.

I bought the switch 2 because I have the switch 1. I mainly play chess on it. I have the korg app on it and I've been making music on it.

I'm trying to get away from "games" (I don't consider chess a game, because of the mindset, thinking required).

Most people get older and grow out of rap, I'm getting older and I can't stand the amount of time I've wasted on video games.

It wasn't a lot, especially compared to some, but as I grew up there's plenty of times where friends and I would play video games, rather than do more productive things. Because my friends and I did do productive things, physical games and such, but there was plenty of downtime where we just gamed.
