    Man, I can't tell you how many times that I have went on job interviews, and they love my English-sounding name. Until, they find out that I am a black man.

    I didn't realize how having a WASP sounding name until Asians and Latinos kept mentioning it to me when I was in LA.

    That name thing effects them too

        Yes it's why I've met a lot of 1st generation children of immigrants have American first and middle names bc they want to assimilate
