  • Terence Crawford at 168 Might Be The Most Powerful Puncher Canelo Has Faced

People think since Canelo is accustomed to fighting @ 168 pounds that Crawford's punch wont damage him, which is false. Canelo has never fought a true heavy-hitter at 168 pounds. John Ryder, William Scull, Bivol, Edgar Berlanga, Jamie Mungia, Caleb Plant all lack punching power, especially punching power with speed which is especially lethal. Canelo has yet to be knocked out at 168 not only because he has a solid chin, but because the opponents he has faced at super middleweight lack great power and speed.

The strongest puncher Canelo has fought was Triple G at 160 pounds. Triple G never knocked out Canelo, but who's to say Triple G is a stronger puncher than Crawford, especially a 168 pound Crawford. Meaning Crawford at middleweight may very well be a more powerful puncher than Triple G.

Punching power is more than just raw strength. Yes Triple G had raw strength, but he lacked the speed. Crawford has both raw strength and speed, in which both attributes of speed and strength are needed to increase punching power to knock out opponents.

Canelo has never fought a boxer that has the strength, speed, and precision that Crawford possesses. This is why i believe Crawford can get a late round stoppage against Canelo. People may be in for a shock. I'm hoping Bud pulls it off.

I believe Crawford is both faster and more powerful than any boxer Canelo has faced at middleweight. size and strength are not the same thing.

I hear you bruh. Good analysis. I am rooting for Bud also. He may pull off the upset. I hope that he does.
